Los Angeles Virtuosi Orchestra: Movie Magic

conducted by Maestro Carlo Ponti

May 12, 2016

Celebrate in grand style as the Los Angeles Virtuosi Orchestra ends its’ first season-in-residence at the Theatre Raymond Kabbaz. Maestro Carlo Ponti joins international recording artist Alexia Vassiliou in an emotional tribute to his family’s filmic legacy in compelling performances of some of Hollywood’s most memorable soundtracks, coupled with the West Los Angeles premiere of Georges Bizet’s exciting First Symphony.

Reflecting it’s mission to serve as a catalyst in reaffirming, advocating and supporting music education in schools and in the community, the Los Angeles Virtuosi Orchestra, in partnership with Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles, will allocate all net profit from its’ subscription concerts at Theatre Raymond Kabbaz towards the advancement and support of music education programs in educational institutions, including Le Lycée Français of Los Angeles music Dept.

This concert is part of the Los Angeles Virtuosi Orchestra’s 2015 – 2016 subscription concert series at the Theatre Raymond Kabbaz as its’ official orchestra-in-residence for the 2015/2016 season.

Show starts on time at 7:30pm.

TRK and Los Angeles Virtuosi Orchestra wishes to acknowledge the support of the Italian Cultural Institute in Los Angeles, and Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles.
