Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles is a private, bilingual, and international institution founded in 1964 by Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kabbaz. As a Californian non-profit corporation in the West Los Angeles area, Le Lycée is proud of its strong French roots, but it is truly a bi-cultural school representing two strong educational systems, the French and the American, in one school. However, one need not be French nor know the French language to attend.

Launched in 1984, TV5MONDE is the leading French language channel. It reaches more than 207 million households in 198 countries, making TV5MONDE the 2nd largest distributed channel in the world. It has been available in the U.S. market since 1998 as a pay-tv channel. Programming includes subtitled films and series, entertainment and cultural programs, documentaries, cultural and international sports coverage.



KCRW, a community service of Santa Monica College, is Southern California's leading National Public Radio affiliate, featuring an eclectic mix of music, news, information and cultural programming. The station boasts one of the nation's largest arrays of locally-produced, nationally-distributed talk program content.KCRW extends the station's profile globally, with three streams featuring web-exclusive content: all music, all news and the live station simulcast, as well as an extensive list of podcasts.
WFSM-LA began as a one-time millennium event in 1999 with a letter from H. H. the Dalai Lama who suggested that people from around the world make the new millennium with hope and commitment to peace and universal responsibility through music. In response to this call, Foundation for Wolrd Arts in association with Earthways Foundation and UCLA Center for Intercultural Performance produced the 1999 festival. As a result of the overwhelming response from the community, the organizing partners took the initiative in planning Festival every three years thereafter.

FLAX is a public charity registered in the State of California. It is dedicated to fostering a better understanding of modern France through cultural events in Southern California. In partnership with local French organizations (French Consulate, Alliance Française, Maison de la France). FLAX pools private and corporate resources to promote innovative cultural exchanges between French and American people in the United States.

Founded in 1984, the Institute acts as a cultural intermediary between Italy and the US, in a multifaceted perspective. IIC is a center for cultural and academic activities, a school of Italian language and culture, and a center for art exhibitions, film screenings and videos. It promotes the translation of Italian authors by encouraging local publishers and makes the public aware of Italian artists, as well as literary contests and awards.


Los Angeles Accueil est une association à but non lucratif, apolitique, laïque qui a pour but d'accueillir, d'informer et d'intégrer les nouveaux arrivants ou nouveaux membres francophones et francophiles à Los Angeles. Cette association de bénévoles propose des activités et un bulletin bimestriel à ses membres.
